May I Interest You in Some Hot Doug Emhoff Merch?
Great news for all of my Doug-curious voters out there. Kamala Harris’s campaign is aware of your appreciation for the vice-president’s husband, Doug Emhoff, and has made some special merch just for you. For the thirstiest members of Coconut Nation and the D-Unit, there is now an 11-ounce white ceramic mug (it’s dishwasher safe), a tee, a tank top, and stickers featuring a photo of Emhoff from his cutie-patootie years.
Last week, the photo of a young, tan, curly-haired Emhoff went viral on X, where user @onedankmom requested Gen Z turn the Second Gentleman into “TikTok’s white boy of the month.”

Emhoff himself had previously posted the photo back in April 2020 with the caption “#MeAt20.” I’m sure this was a trending hashtag people were using to distract themselves, but in retrospect, it does sort of read as the husband to a sitting senator posting a thirst trap amid a pandemic. I have to respect it. Of course, campaigns are all about bringing in cash, so why not play on people’s love of a hot guy? For $32, you can get Emhoff on a tank top.
