Xbox’s latest custom giveaway turns the console into a beast – and there are twenty ways to win

XBOX is known for its custom consoles and collaborative giveaways,but the latest one might be the strangest yet.

We’ve seen pizza-scented Xbox controllers and ones with Deadpool and Wolverine’s bums, but nothing has been as strange as the current giveaway.

In collaboration with upcoming hack ‘n’ slash, Gori: Cuddly Carnage, Wired Productions is giving away a rather unique Xbox Series X.

Put simply, the console is furry and covered with a luscious pelt of golden hair.

In the image you can’t see just how full coverage the pelt is, and there is no information as to whether the hair will be removable or not.

However, as long as it doesn’t cover the vents, its fur will likely not cause the console to overheat, or worse, catch on fire.

As the giveaway is on behalf of the publisher and not Xbox, there are multiple ways that players can enter for a chance to win the beastly console.

This includes things like wishlisting the game on multiple different consoles, following certain accounts on Twitter, and retweeting the giveaway’s multiple promotional tweets.

You can choose how you want to enter the competition, as you can do so to in 20 different ways.

Most methods give 100 entries into the prize draw, while wishlisting the game will give you 200 entries.

If you do enter, be warned that you’ll have stiff competition and there are plenty of Xbox fans who want to get their hands on the furry console.

One Twitter user wrote: “It looks purrrr-fect!” While another said: “Purrfection.”

Generally people were just enamored with just how unique the custom Xbox is, and were confused about how they felt about it.

Someone said: “It’s disgusting, I love it” and another added: “What in the name of god is THAT!!!!!?”

Funnier were the people who thought of unconventional ways they’d like to enjoy the new console.

One user wrote: “Reckon it would make for a good pillow? Asking for a friend.”
