Diamondbacks to place C Gabriel Moreno (groin) on IL

The Arizona Diamondbacks are set to place Gold Glove catcher Gabriel Moreno on the injured list with a groin strain, manager Torey Lovullo said on MLB Network, while the club will select the contract of catcher Adrian Del Castillo from Triple-A Reno.
