Asif Merchant: Pakistani mastermind tied to suspicious Trump assassination theories

Asif Raza Merchant has been charged with murder-for-hire in a federal court in Brooklyn. According to law enforcement, Merchant's assassination plot was intercepted before any attack could occur. He is currently in federal custody in New York.
