The post was captioned: “Can you guess what’s going on? Type ‘Binge’ in the comments to find out more!”
After typing ‘Binge’ into the post’s comments, individuals were sent a direct message on the social media platform directing them to another Instagram page for the newly established profile.
In the page’s bio there is the date ’12.09.24’, which suggests listeners can expect the first episode to air on September 12.
While details of the podcast are being kept secret, the teaser image suggests the pair could be sharing their best TV and film recommendations with fans.
Alex and Harry both appeared in the 2011 series of Strictly Come Dancing, with Alex competing with former professional dancer James Jordan while Harry was partnered with ex-Strictly dancer Aliona Vilani.
Harry and Aliona were crowned the winners of the series, taking home the glitterball trophy, while Alex exited the competition after the semi-final.
The two have been good friends since their Strictly experience and Harry has occasionally co-hosted on The One Show with Alex over the years.
The One Show is currently on a break with the BBC’s Olympics 2024 coverage filling the programme’s usual weekday evening slot.
US pop star Katy Perry was their final guest on the green sofa. Announcing the hiatus until mid-August, Alex’s co-host Roman Kemp told viewers: “Enjoy the Olympics, see you on the 12th of August.”
Alex added: “Bye, have a nice summer,” as the credits rolled.
She is currently enjoying a holiday in Corsica with her husband Charlie and their children Teddy, Kit and Annie.
The star shared a snap from her trip as she posed in a swimsuit with her daughter while in the pool.
The One Show airs on weekdays at 7pm on BBC One.
