‘Is this actually legal?’ shopper cries after finding awkward detail on Shein’s dupe of Zara’s summer sandals
A SHOPPER was left stunned after she ordered a pair of sandals from the online fast fashion retailer Shein.
The retail company is known for following the trends and selling outfits inspired by high-street and designer brands from the catwalk for cheap.

From shoes, to adult and kids clothing, to even beauty – the fast fashion brand as it all.
But more recently it has left one shopper stunned after they purchased a pair of sandals which look identical to Zara ones.
The brown sandals even had a logo imprinted on them, which appeared to look like it said The shopper, who uploaded a video to her TikTok account @jaszmine_x, couldn’t quite believe what she had received.
She captioned the video: “I love Shein but damnnn? They stooping to a new low… still going to wear them though.
“It wasn’t advertised on the website with the Zara logo either.”
The video shows a close up of the sandals, and she also zoomed into the logo.
Jaszmine can be heard saying: “I ordered these slippers from Shein, why is it it saying Zara?
“Is this actually legal?”
The video has gone viral, with over 36K people liking the video and over 440 people rushing to the comments section to share their thoughts.
One laughed and wrote: “It says ‘ZABA’”
Another also found the whole situation amusing and added: “Zara is selling the same ones, without zaba.”
Others were not put off by the logo, as some explained that they were adding the sandals to their “basket.”
A third commented: “I worked for a retail company and all retailers get the same samples meaning all of them have the same style with one or two changes only in colour, stitching and buttons and slap their names on.

Known for their cheap clothing, Shein sells its own products and acts as a marketplace for third-party sellers.
They do not sell designer brands, and in the past have been plagued by accusations of counterfeits and copyright violations.
Previously brands like Ralph Lauren and Oakley have sued the fashion giant for violating their intellectual property rights.
