Law enforcement meet for National Night Out in Holton

HOLTON (KSNT) - Multiple law enforcement agencies gathered at the Jackson County courthouse in Holton for a community engagement event.

National Night Out is an annual event nationwide that promotes police's partnerships with the communities they serve.

Jackson County Sheriff, Tim Morse, said it was the county's fourth year celebrating and that it's a great way for law enforcement to spend time with the community.

"Jackson County is a great place," Morse said, "so, if you want a job in law enforcement this is a good place to be. Just because... our public, they back us. They're very good to us and they appreciate us here."
