The amount of legacy waste processed at Gurgaon’s Bandhwari landfill decreased by 50% over three months, now handling about 4,000 MT daily. MCG plans to extend contracts for two firms to manage another 4 lakh MT by December. With 10.35 lakh MT remaining, tenders will be floated for further processing.
