UNIBEN announces reopening with conditions for students

The University of Benin is scheduled to reopen on August 11, following a temporary closure due to student protests and unrest. PUNCH Online reported that the varsity’s management on July 4 halted academic activities indefinitely and ordered the students to vacate their hostels immediately, in a statement by the institution’s Public Relations Officer, Benedicta Ehanire.
