United Way kicks off 2024-2025 campaign year with Backpack Blast event

Dozens of University of Toledo students, families, and members of the community stood in two long lines parallel to two rows of tables, waiting for their turn to help pack 1,000 backpacks for financially insecure students in Lucas County.
