Roddy MacGregor Selected at the Buck’s Bar Southside Player of the Month to End July on a High
Roddy MacGregor capped off a fine first month with Queen’s Park by being selected as the Buck’s Bar Southside Player of the Month for July.
The 22-year-old joined the club from inverness Caledonian Thistle in the summer and found the net on his debut against Peterhead in The Premier Sports Cup on July 13.
Games against Elgin and Kelty Hearts in the same competition were marked by double strikes and saw 73% of the votes cast for the Buck’s Bar Southside Player of the Month go to Roddy.
The goal-grabbing midfielder said: “Scoring five times has been a positive start to my time at Queen’s Park on the pitch. I have settled well in Glasgow and to be recognised so quickly by the club’s supporters is terrific.
“I am looking forward to attending Buck’s Bar Southside and using my prize.”
