New Labour MP issues grovelling apology after making vile post about Estonians
A NEW Labour MP was forced to issue a grovelling apology yesterday for referring to Estonian people as “f***ing retards”.
In a series of unearthed tweets, dating between 2009 and 2011, Lauren Edwards also complained about halal food and House of Commons cleaners going on holiday.

Ms Edwards, who between 2008 and 2013 worked as a parliamentary staffer for three Labour MPs, said: “I have recently been made aware of a small number of tweets that I posted on Twitter from over a decade ago, which I now deeply regret.
“They were a significant error of judgement on my part, and I apologise wholeheartedly.”
The Labour MP sparked fury on Thursday after it emerged she previously tweeted: “I want these f*** Estonian retards out of my flat now!”
In a separate bizarre tirade, she posted: “Baroness Wrenthorpe text me from Walthamstow to say he’s seen a halal Pakistani Chinese Grill place.
“Hope he’s not suggesting we go there.”
Turning her rage to parliamentary cleaners, Ms Edwards had also posted: “Are the cleaners on recess too? My desk has so many coffee rings it looks like Saturn.”
Kelly Tolhurst, the ousted Tory MP for Rochester and Strood blasted her successor’s posts as “shocking and concerning”.
She said: “She had no concern airing them publicly when working for a Labour MP, only deleting them after public pressure.
“Holding these divisive and unpleasant views she now represents our towns and community.”
