I’ve been finding some bomb dupes at Dollar Tree lately – there were copycats of a $27 moisturizer & $20 Rare Beauty buy
A MONEY-SAVVY mom has sparked a rush to Dollar Tree after finding dupes of popular beauty products.
Among her must-haves is a moisturizer that’s strikingly similar to a $27 skincare buy and a Rare Beauty copycat.
Victoria Sofia (@victoriasofia.m) has racked up almost 66,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares budget-friendly shopping hauls.
She went viral on the social media app when she shared a selection of the best dupes spotted at her local Dollar Tree.
BUDGET BUYS
She said it was “crazy” how comparable BPure’s Revitalizing Moisturizer is to Olay Regenertist, which costs $27.40 at Target.
“They also have these little mini lip oils which remind me of Rare Beauty but better, I love them,” she said.
Rare Beauty’s Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oil costs $20 each at Sephora.
Victoria showed each item being sold for $1.25 at Dollar Tree to the camera as she browsed the shelves.
“I have been finding some bomb a** dupes at Dollar Tree lately, but girl you have to go like every day,” she said.
“I found a Shea moisture shampoo and conditioner.
“The real ones are like $11 and $12 at Target and Walmart but these Dollar Tree ones smell so good.
“The deep conditioner one, oh my God, I’m going to go back and get it.”
Victoria was delighted to spot towel scrunchies that could be mistaken for Kitsch’s Microfiber Quick-Dry Towel Scrunchies sold for $18 at Ulta Beauty.
She also found shampoo and conditioner that looked similar to those sold by OGX at Target for over $7 each.
She raved that they were free from parabens and sulfates.
“Then they had a detangle spray which looked like the Johnsons and Johnsons No More Tangles Spray,” she said.
“They had this Persistent Body Acne Wash which reminded me of the Stubborn Body Acne Wash from Neutrogena.
“They had these feminine deodorant sprays which reminded me so much of The Honey Pot.”
Victoria spotted under-eye masks that had similar packaging to those sold by Topicals, but the ingredients were more like Pixi’s under-eye mask.
She likened Dollar Tree’s Vitamin C Lotion to Olay’s Vitamin C Body Lotion sold at Walmart for $10.
She also found moisturizing lotions that seemed to have been inspired by Cetaphil’s range of products.
“They had lavender pillow spray with melatonin which looks exactly like Dr. Teal’s one,” she said.
“If you get anything, please go get this blush it’s literally Tower 28 for $1.25.”
COSMETICS CRAZE
Over 123,000 people watched the TikTok video and it racked up thousands of likes from viewers eager to buy the products.
Many commenters revealed they had already stocked up on the dupes after being amazed by how similar they were to pricier beauty products.
“My skin has never looked this good since I started using the Olay dupes!” one person said.
“The detangle spray is good!!!” another wrote.
“The detangler works better than any expensive one I’ve bought,” a third chimed in.
“Dollar Tree is slaying lately,” another added.
