Monster who raped & killed girl, 10, forcibly tattooed with ‘KATIE’S REVENGE’ across his forehead by victim’s cousin
A MONSTER child rapist has a permanent reminder of his victim’s name tattooed on his forehead.
Anthony Ray Stockelman was pinned down in jail by none other than the cousin of the 10-year-old he murdered.
Katie was 10 years old when she was raped and murdered by Stockelman[/caption]Stockelman is serving a life sentence after he confessed to kidnapping, raping and brutally murdering Katlyn “Katie” Collman in Indiana in 2005.
Her body was found in a creek 15 miles from her home in Indianapolis five days after she disappeared.
Unluckily for him, Stockelman was sent to the same prison as Katie’s cousin, Jarred Harris.
It was at the Wabash Valley Correction Facility where Harris waited in the evil killer’s cell so he could exact his revenge.
At the time, prison officials would not confirm how Stockelman was tattooed but said an inmate was identified as a suspect.
Two prison guards were also fired at the time for making “unauthorised copies of an evidence photo”.
According to Express US, Harris was incarcerated for burglary.
The permanent act of revenge saw Harris charged with battery after he tattooed ‘Katie’s revenge’ in capital letters on Stockelman’s head.
KATIE COLLMAN’S CASE
Another man, Charles Hickman, was initially charged with the young girl’s murder.
He told police Katie had witnessed some drug activity and that he had dragged her into his trailer.
He then claimed he had wanted to scare her into silence and took her to the creek in the middle of the night.
He said she accidentally drowned and he fled from the scene.
However, inconsistencies in his confession and DNA evidence from a discarded cigarette proved that father-of-three Stockelman was the culprit.
Stockelman ultimately took a plea deal to serve a life sentence, allowing him to avoid the death penalty.
He received an additional 30 years for molesting Katie.
At the time, many people in the area reportedly felt disappointed that he wasn’t sentenced to death.
Local Marsha Fink reportedly said: “I’d rather see him get the death penalty for what he did to the little girl but at least he’s going to be punished.”
