At the 29th foundation day of NEDFi in Guwahati, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma encouraged the financial institution to collaborate with the Assam government to boost women entrepreneurship. Emphasizing the Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Scheme, he proposed that NEDFi support micro-lending. Lauding NEDFi's 2022 scheme, which benefited over 10,000 entrepreneurs, Sarma also unveiled a digital app for the scheme.
