The controversy began with Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance trying to confront Kamala Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz, on the tarmac of Chippewa Valley Regional Airport in Wisconsin on Wednesday. He told a group of reporters at the airport that he figured he would come by and just get a good look at the plane because hopefully, it’s going to be his plane in a few months.
