Video: Plane Plummets to Ground in Fiery Crash
A flight in Brazil went up in flames following a tragic crash on Aug. 9.
According to ABC News, a Voepass flight was headed from Cascavel to São Paulo and suddenly began plummeting in the residential area of Vinhedo outside São Paulo. The plane took off at 11:50 a.m. and was set to arrive in São Paulo at 1:40 p.m., per FlightAware.
The twin-turboprop plane had a total of 62 people on board, including 58 passengers and four crew members. Local authorities say there are no survivors, according to the BBC, and no injuries on the ground were reported.

Brazilian president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva addressed the incident while speaking at an event on Friday. He called for a minute of silence, according to The Associated Press, and lamented the deaths of everyone onboard.
