Ballston Spa man charged with burglary
PUTNAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Washington County Sheriff's Office reported the arrest of a Ballston Spa man following a theft investigation. Timothy Martin, 46, is facing multiple charges.
Martin is accused of breaking into a building on State Route 22 in the town of Putnam on March 9 and stealing property worth over $1,000. According to the Sheriff's Office, he was reportedly accompanied by an unidentified woman at the time of the alleged burglary.
Deputies took Martin into custody on an arrest warrant on August 1. He now faces the following charges:
- Third-degree burglary
- Fourth-degree grand larceny
- Fifth-degree conspiracy
Martin was arraigned before being remanded with bail. The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Washington County Sheriff's Office Investigation Division at (518)746-2522.
