Baby girl born in cinema foyer during screening of Sing 2 given free membership for life
A BABY girl born in a cinema foyer has been given free membership for life.
Little Lowri made her appearance after mum Sarah Vincent’s waters broke during a screening of Sing 2.
Cineworld staff and a member of the public helped deliver Lowri, who weighed just over 7lb, in less than ten minutes.
An ambulance then arrived to take Sarah, 32, and her new baby to hospital for a check-up.
She was at the cinema in Newport, South Wales, with son Liam, three, and her parents, James and Helen, on Wednesday.
Sarah went into labour after popping to the loo 20 minutes into the animated movie.
Dad Gareth Miles, 33, of Caerphilly, was at work in Cardiff, 13 miles away.
He said: “Both Sarah and the baby are healthy.
“Sarah’s dad rang me to say something was happening and then rang me back ten minutes later to say she’d had the baby and not to rush.
“The staff were great.”
Cineworld manager Mo Williams has given Lowri a lifetime membership.
He said: “We were delighted to welcome a brand-new film fan into the world.”
