A pilot program in Kamrup District, Assam, aimed at addressing child malnutrition by incorporating nutrient-dense small fish powder into children's diets has shown promising results. Launched in September 2023, the initiative led to significant improvements in children's nutritional status, including reduced underweight and stunting, and increased Body Mass Index (BMI).
