Boys and Girls Club's Lemonade Day returns to Portland metro for second year

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- On Saturday, teams of kids will be setting up lemonade stands around the Portland metro area as part of the Boys and Girls Club's Lemonade Day.
The event, now in its second year, gives kids a chance to gain entrepreneurial skills and they get to keep all of the proceeds.
The program started in 2023 with five teams and that number has now doubled with lemonade stands popping up from Hillsboro to Gresham.

According to the Boys and Girls Club, Lemonade Day teaches kids financial literacy, money management, budgeting and marketing.
