Crashed Mercedes yields remains of missing Medford man

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- The remains of a Medford man, missing for more than a year, were found inside a crashed Mercedes SUV "in steep and densely forested terrain," the Jackson County Sheriff's Office said.

Graham Case was last seen June 22, 2023. The Mercedes crashed alongside Hwy 140 and, during an unrelated call on August 6, a drone search in the area spotted the SUV.

Jackson County detectives went to the scene, as did the medical examiner from the Central Point Police Department. Both the car and the remains were identified as those of the missing man.
