Jeff Goldblum Reveals ‘Every Emotion’ He Has About Being a Dad in His 70s
Jeff Goldblum became a first-time dad in his 60s, and in his 70s, he’s talking all about how he enjoys every moment with his two young sons, and all the “emotions” he feels throughout it.
In a rare interview with The Independent, Goldblum talked about fatherhood, noting how “every emotion” comes up amid this journey.
“It’s amazing,” he said. “Every emotion comes up, and you are forced to examine everything that you model and could be better at. It’s a great task and opportunity.”
We love that Goldblum is being so open about his fatherhood journey, and it does show that being a parent heightens so many of your emotions. And we love that he’s so focused on making the best decisions possible for his kids.
Truly, some great words of wisdom. But what else did we expect from Goldblum? He does have a way with words.
For those who don’t know, back in 2014, Goldblum and his wife Emilie Livingston married after two years together. Since they married, they’ve welcomed two sons named Charlie, born on July 4, 2015, and River, born on April 7, 2017.
Back in 2018, Goldblum told iNews, Goldblum reflected on family life, and how he was happy he waited to be a dad.
“I’m glad I waited,” he said. “It feels great to do it right now because all the things I’m considering are perfectly suited to the big questions and challenges of having kids, and what you want to expose them to. What you want to leave them with, what life is, and what kind of life you contribute to them.”
