A 40-year-old farmer named Tejpal from UP was struck by an unidentified vehicle and killed at the Hari Nagar underpass on NH 8. His family initiated a complaint, leading to a police case under sections 106 and 281 for negligence and rash driving. Tejpal had visited the Anaj Mandi to sell mangoes on Saturday, and on Sunday was reported missing by the van driver, Rup Singh. His family discovered he had died in an accident after police notification, and his body was identified at the morgue. Investigations are ongoing to identify the driver responsible.
