I'd be reluctant to go back there if they just bullshitted you.
Did they even do the service?

I'm not sure about dealerships/new cars but I still get a paper copy from mot station on a 2008; maybe they just forgot to register it on system? If so 2 free mots saves you a few quid.

Could be honest mistake, could be a bunch of trained monkeys.
