DA: Kingston man pleads guilty to attempted robbery
KINGSTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- According to the Ulster County District Attorney's Office, a Kingston man has pleaded guilty to first-degree attempted robbery. Elijah Lyons, 27, could face up to 12 years in state prison followed by five years of probation.
The DA's Office says Lyons attempted robbery of the Caribbean Taste Deli in Kingston with a butcher knife before being apprehended by deli employees. He is scheduled to be sentenced on November 14.
