Apparent human bone discovered on shore near Brooklyn Bridge: NYPD
BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – An apparent human bone was found off the Brooklyn Bridge Park shoreline early Wednesday morning, according to the NYPD.
The bone is believed to be connected to a skull and bones found in the same area on Monday, sources told PIX11 News.
The new bone was discovered on the rocks at 47 Water St. around 12:30 a.m., according to authorities. The bones on Monday were found at 55 Water St. around 8:50 a.m.
Citizen App video showed NYPD officers talking to people near the scene as scuba divers carried out a water search.
The NYPD has not confirmed if they identified the human remains. The medical examiner's office is investigating.
