Early morning house fire causes $22k in damage in Topeka

TOPEKA (KSNT) - The Topeka Fire Department responded to reports of a house fire Wednesday morning.
At 1 a.m. firefighters arrived at the scene of a house fire in the 300 block of SW Harrison Street. Firefighters found smoke and flames coming from the back of a house. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire and found no occupants inside.
The total loss associated with the fire was approximately $22,000. All of the damage was attributed to structural damage.
