Data from ISRO's Chandrayaan-3 mission supports the theory that the Moon was once covered in a magma ocean. Analysis of the lunar soil by the Pragyan rover revealed a uniform composition of ferroan anorthosite. Notably, the presence of magnesium in the soil challenges parts of the existing hypothesis.
