LAHA HEALTH COMMITTEE COMMENDS EPE GENERAL HOSPITAL FOR QUALITY SERVICE, FACILITY MAINTENANCE
The House Committee on Health from the Lagos State House of Assembly has commended Epe General Hospital for its exceptional service delivery and diligent maintenance of health facilities within the hospital.
The delegation, led by its Chairman, Hon. Lawal Aina Musbau, expressed satisfaction with the hospital’s efforts in providing quality healthcare services to the people of Epe and its environs during a recent inspection visit to the health facility.
The lawmakers also praised the hospital staff for their commitment to maintaining the standards of health care in the state, acknowledging the hospital’s consistent focus on patient care and the upkeep of its facilities.
During the visit, Hon. Musbau emphasised the importance of sustaining high standards in healthcare delivery and urged the hospital to continue its efforts in ensuring the well-being of patients.
He commended the hospital for its proactive approach to facility management, which he noted as a key factor in delivering efficient and effective healthcare services.
He averred that the visit was part of ongoing effort to assess the state of healthcare facilities across Lagos and ensure that they meet the standards set by the government in providing accessible and quality health care for all citizens.
Earlier, the hospital’s Deputy Medical Director and Consultant Radiologist, Dr Iskil Jolaoso; the Head of Admin and HR, Mr. Gbenga Ajiboye and the Apex Nurse, Mrs. Arolake Azeez received the committee on behalf of the hospital’s management.
The Deputy Medical Director, Dr Jolaoso, expressed gratitude to the committee for their visit and assured them of the hospital’s continued dedication to excellence in healthcare service delivery and facility management.
He assured the visitors that Epe General Hospital remains committed to serving the people of Lagos, with a focus on improving healthcare services and infrastructure.
He made reference to the recently commissioned new Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) oxygen plant at the hospital, stressing that the PSA Plant has further enhanced the hospital’s capacity to provide quality healthcare.
The Deputy Medical Director stated that the oxygen plant donated by Global Fund and Iplus Solutions represents a collaborative effort that will strengthen the healthcare infrastructure in Lagos State.
