Carbontech expands footprint in SE Asia but road ahead dotted with challenges

In Southeast Asia, carbon markets are not as strongly regulated as in other parts of the world, said Parag Khanna, founder and CEO at AlphaGeo. “I don’t believe this market will stabilise soon, especially as scepticism grows. Therefore, I believe we need to focus on adaptation too because the damage is already being done. Asset values are being destroyed, and there’s a pressing need to consider future investments in new geographies.”
