The bodies of a trainee pilot and his instructor were recovered from Jharkhand's Chandil dam after their Cessna 152 aircraft went missing following takeoff from Jamshedpur. The plane lost contact with air traffic control, prompting a major search operation involving the Indian Navy. The trainee, Shubhrodeep Dutta, and instructor, Captain Jeet Satru Anand, were found days later. The incident is under investigation by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation and other aviation authorities.
