A special court has granted the CBI permission to conduct polygraph tests on former RG Kar Medical College principal Sandip Ghosh and four other doctors in a case involving the alleged rape and murder of a postgraduate trainee. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi for stricter laws to address such crimes.
