On Friday, millions of Senegalese Muslims will gather in the Holy city of Touba - the climax of an important annual pilgramage known as 'le Grand Magal'. Touba lies in the centre of the country, in what is now the most populated administrative region in Senegal - even more than the capital, Dakar. Rapid demographic growth, combined with a surge of visitors during the pilgrimage, thought to bring in about 380 million euros each year, has not gone unmissed by eagle-eyed investors.
