One woman in her 50s found an SPF that did wonders for her skin, but she had to search far and wide for it.
Redditor Zucaskittens said she has her sunscreen delivered straight from Asia to the US.
“The thing that got me to not only use sunscreen every single day, but become obsessed was Asian sunscreen,” the 53-year-old said.
“My gateway sunscreen was Isntree Watery Sun Gel (or whatever the name is) and still love it.
“Most people really like Beauty of Joseon, but I didn’t love it.
“Skin 1004 (super long name) is absolutely fantastic.”

Zucaskittens said she could go on and on about why her go-to sunscreen is a must-have.
She added that because she can’t use a popular skincare ingredient, SPF has become something she can’t go without.
“I can’t use retinoids so sunscreen is pretty much my main anti-aging product,” she said.
“Because of this, I choose a sunscreen with the highest UVA protection: LaRoche Posay UV Mune.”
However, Zucaskittens said that patience is key when it comes to a flawless visage.
“Everything I’ve mentioned I import via Stylevana,” she said.
“Shipping takes two to four weeks, but you’re guaranteed the real thing.”
She warned people not to buy the brand on Amazon from the U.S.

The Redditor also added that a cloudy day isn’t an excuse to skip the SPF.
People often forego sunscreen if they plan on staying in or if the sun isn’t too bright.
However, sun damage can still occur through windows, making it a good skincare practice to wear it indoors.
According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), harmful rays can also penetrate cloudy days, making sunscreen a must no matter the weather forecast.
It is also advisable to reapply sunscreen throughout the day as it can wash off or lose its potency as the day goes by.
