Youngsville police officer fired, chief confirms

YOUNGSVILLE, La. (KLFY) -- A Youngsville police officer put on administrative leave after her arrest in June has been fired, officials said.
Youngsville Police Chief Cody Louviere confirmed Hannah Gentry, 31, was fired on Wednesday.
Gentry was arrested by Lafayette Police June 27 and charged with unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. She was placed on unpaid leave June 28.
