Church Point man charged with passing counterfeit money

CHURCH POINT, La. (KLFY) -- A Church Point man has been arrested after allegedly passing counterfeit money, authorities said.
Blake Thibodeaux, of Church Point, is charged with one count of monetary instrument abuse.
Police said he was captured on video passing a counterfeit $100 bill at a local merchant and receiving change for the balance after the purchase.
Bond details were not released.
