Matt O’Riley Travelling To Brighton For Medical

Matt O’Riley is on his way to the south coast of England for a medical with Brighton ahead of his permanent exit from Celtic, according to Sky Sports News.

Celtic have accepted a Scottish transfer record fee of £30m for the proposed sale of the Danish midfielder to Brighton.

The Scottish champions rejected multiple offers from Atalanta before eventually agreeing on a deal with the Premier League side.

Brighton are now pushing forward to finalise the midfielder’s arrival at the Amex Stadium over the weekend.

O’Riley is claimed to be travelling to the south coast of England at the moment to finalise his transfer.

Once he arrives at Brighton, he will be put through a medical before joining the club on a permanent deal.

Personal terms are already in place and O’Riley is on the verge of completing the move to the Premier League side.

Celtic are set to make a huge profit from the sale of a player they signed for £1.5m from MK Dons in 2022.
