Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has announced plans to introduce a 20% allowance for teachers and health workers who accept postings to rural areas. Addressing party faithful at the launch of the NDC rsquo;s manifesto in Winneba, Mahama explained that this incentive aims to encourage more personnel to serve in rural areas, bridging the development gap between rural and urban communities.
