Solanke misses Spurs win through injury
Solanke looked extremely lively in his Spurs debut against Leicester City last week but the centre-forward would have been disappointed by the fact that he failed to convert the chances he fell for him.
The striker would have been hoping to put things right on Saturday but unfortunately, an ankle injury ruled him out of the clash against Everton.
Fortunately, the injury is not serious, with Ange Postecoglou even admitting that the 26-year-old could be back for the clash against Newcastle United next Sunday (Football.London).

The former Bournemouth star watched from the director’s box at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as his teammates made light work of the Toffees, responding in style after the disappointment of Monday night.
Son Heung-min scored a brace, while Yves Bissouma and Cristian Romero got the other two goals in Tottenham’s 4-0 win.
Solanke took to Instagram stories to express his excitement after seeing the Lilywhites pick up their first win of the campaign in front of their home fans.
Solanke would have loved to play in this game, given the number of chances Spurs fashioned.
The 26-year-old would have been wishing he was on the end of some of the crosses that Tottenham played into the box on Saturday. Let’s hope the striker is fully fit for the club’s trip to St James’ Park.
