PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Put your paws up, because the top ten dog breeds for Portland have been unveiled!

Just in time for National Dog Day on Monday, Rover - in partnership with Know Your Pet DNA by Ancestry - issued their nationwide most popular dog breed report of 2024. The report even broke out trends in 10 U.S. cities, including Portland.

According to the report, both Portland and the U.S. as a whole share the love for mixed breeds, which landed in the top spot.

But the Portland ranking further revealed breeds which range from athletic to easygoing to pocket-sized.

Rover also crunched the data of Portland users to see which breeds were most on the rise in the area. It turns out, they also cover a wide range from majestic to tiny.
