Groups Urge Department of Energy to Withdraw Loan Guarantee for Plastics Recycling Facility in Erie

IRG said it will mechanically recycle the majority of the plastic, but Beyond Plastics said most plastic does not get recycled due to a lack of markets, and what cannot be recycled will be burned at a steel plant.
