'Chaos and heartache!' Trump unleashes meandering attack on Harris and key Senate ally
Former President Donald Trump issued a meandering attack on Vice President Kamala Harris by way of a key political ally at whom he hurled a racial slur.
Trump lashed out at Harris on Truth Social Monday, as well as at a U.S. senator who threw her full support behind the newly anointed presidential nominee last week at the Democratic National Convention.
"Think of it, America, Pocahontas, sometimes referred to as Elizabeth Warren, is considered far more Conservative in the U.S. Senate than Comrade Kamala Harris ever was," Trump wrote. "Is this really what we want to be President of the United States?"
This unclear message comes one week after Trump revived the nickname against Warren — which critics say amounts to a racial slur — to attack Warren (D-MA) during her convention address.

"Her mother told her she had 'high cheekbones,' and therefore she was Indian, who would use this hoax on applications everywhere," Trump wrote.
The National Congress of American Indians, the largest umbrella group for Native American tribes, has described Trump's nickname for Warren as "a slur to insult a political adversary."
Trump has also faced accusations of racism after he questioned Harris, the daughter of a Jamaican-born father and Indian-born mother, on her race.
"She will only bring us Poverty, Chaos, and Heartache!" Trump wrote Monday. "Kamala is rated, by far, the Number One Most Liberal Senator."
