'Pretty rich': GOP strategist hits Harris campaign over Trump attack with 'chicken noises'
A Republican strategist called it "pretty rich" on CNN that Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris' campaign is calling her opponent a "chicken."
The KamalaHQ account on the social media site X wrote in a post Monday: "You scared @realdonaldtrump?" The campaign added a chicken emoji to the post and shared a video that overlayed audio of a chicken making "buk, buk, buk, ba-gawk" noises as former President Donald Trump waffles on debating Harris.
On Monday afternoon, Scott Jennings, a conservative strategist, told panelists on CNN's "The Situation" room he thought the post was "rich."

"She's gotta show up too," he said. "Honestly it's pretty rich for her campaign to be using chicken noises against Donald Trump when you consider that all this time she's been in the race, her campaign has been too scared to put her in front of one journalist so far."
Jennings said he believes both candidates will show up for the Sept. 10 debate — and it'll be a "pivotal moment for the fall campaign."
