‘Stunning’ Helen Flanagan gets stood up on Celebs Go Dating after viewers accuse her of ‘turning men off’
HELEN Flanagan was stood up on Celebs Go Dating, prompting viewers to speculate that she might be turning men off.
The 34-year-old actress made her debut on the dating show last week.
The latest season of Celebs Go Dating includes singer Jamelia, Gogglebox’s Stephen Webb, Love Island’s Chris Taylor, and Made In Chelsea’s Tristan Phipps.
The famous singletons were sent along to a masked drinks evening and challenged with chatting up the attendees.
Viewers took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to critique Helen.
One viewer remarked: “Oh, Helen it’s not the kids that’s a turn off. It’s talking about your ex.”
Whilst another added: “Helen from Celebs Go Dating has a bad case of verbal diarrhoea.”
However, some fans showed their support for Helen on Instagram, with one commenting on her Celebs Go Dating preview: “You just gotta love Helen.”
Another fan added: “She’s so lovely, bless Helen.”
Helen has reportedly grown close to a former non-league footballer following her “messy” split from her ex-fiancé, footballer Scott Sinclair.
Since splitting from Scott in 2022 after 13 years together, during which they had three children, Helen has not been in a serious relationship.
Now, she has confided in friends that she is “smitten” with her new beau, 44-year-old Robbie Talbot.
Helen, known for her role as Rosie Webster on the ITV soap, celebrated her birthday in style at Manchester’s five-star Hotel Gotham on August 10, where she openly displayed her blossoming relationship.
The couple arrived together and spent the night at the venue, although it remains unclear if they shared a room.
