Agriculture organisation Free State Agriculture (FSA) met with members of the executive council (MECs) in the province to highlight increasing crime affecting communities and farmers on the border between South Africa and Lesotho. The challenges include illegal crossing routes into Lesotho which are used by criminals to commit various crimes including livestock theft; cross-border grazing; and Basotho nationals who, along with their unbranded animals, are found on the common lands of many border towns.
