The Nailed Desk

The Nailed Desk is a minimalist desk created by London-based designer Bibbings & Hensby. The Nailed Desk is part of the Nailed Collection by Bibbings & Hensby, presented in collaboration with The New Craftsmen gallery. The collection was inspired by the discovery of hand-forged nails during a mudlarking expedition along the River Thames. This find led the duo to explore the historical use of nailed furniture. Working with a traditional blacksmith, they recreated historically accurate nails, utilizing them to explore the potential of the nail in modern handcrafted furniture. The Nailed Desk stands as a testament to this blend of history and contemporary design.
