Asaram Bapu, serving a life sentence for raping a minor, has been permitted by the Rajasthan High Court to undergo treatment for heart-related issues at an Ayurvedic hospital in Pune. He departed for Mumbai under heavy police security and will bear the full cost of treatment and travel.
