Victim of east Columbus shooting dies, now ruled homicide

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- An August 21 shooting on the far east side of Columbus is now being ruled a homicide after the victim died.
Police said that 27-year-old Remarcus Heagler was identified as the victim of an Aug. 21 shooting at the 5100 block of Cedar Drive just after 9 p.m. Heagler was taken to a hospital in critical condition with CPD saying he died as a result of his injuries on Aug. 23 at 3:20 p.m.
