LAMAR, Catherine Baker COURTLAND – Catherine Baker Lamar, 48, died Saturday, June 18, 2005, at Tri-Lakes Medical Center. Services were Wednesday at New Bethlehem M.B. Church. Rev. Walter L. Nash officiated. Burial was in New Bethlehem M.B. Church Cemetery. Cooley’s Mortuary had charge. Lamar, born Dec. 21, 1956, in Batesville to the late D.A. Baker and the late Reola Greenlaw, was a factory worker, a Sunday school teacher and youth choir director. Survivors include her husband, Calvin Lamar of Courtland; two daughters, Angela Lamar and Amelia Lamar, both of Courtland; two brothers, David Lee Baker of Courtland and Barry Gates of Fort Sill, Okla. and five sisters, Christine Pride, Lee Ann Cannon and Bertha J.
